Seminar Contents
Due to the influences of advancing digitalization, entire industries are facing radical change, and their companies which are facing new challenges. Data security, eServices, connected mobility, and eHealth are just a few of the keywords that companies must deal with in order to remain competitive. This seminar addresses the solution concepts for these strategic challenges and their management-oriented communication. The focus lies on theory-based practical problem-solving and the appropriate communication of the solutions in addition to problem structuring. Students will learn modern, audience-specific approaches and (methodological) techniques for this purpose.
The interactive seminar includes working on a real case study, with a concluding final presentation by student teams. Students will be divided into teams of approximately four members. The task will be introduced during an introductory event with the industry partner. Each student team will have a supervisor who will provide feedback on the content of the problem-solving and presentation design in two supervision rounds. The seminar concludes with a presentation where student teams will present their results.
