Course Content
In the age of digital transformation, companies are facing ever-greater challenges. Among other things, digitalization leads to changed/new customer needs, the development and establishment of new business models, and a complex and dynamic competitive environment. The event therefore deals with the solution of strategic problems that arise due to the previously described change. In order to develop an appropriate solution to the problem, approaches and techniques of strategic management are taught and directly applied to case studies. All methods and exercises are used to identify, analyze, evaluate, solve and communicate novel and/or complex problems from business practice.
Essentially, interactive teaching and learning methods are used in the delivery of the course. Therefore, only a small part of the course content is conveyed in “theoretical” lectures. Rather, the focus is on exercises, applications, discussions and teamwork to convey the tools covered. The interactive course includes the processing and presentation of a real problem from practice by student teams.
In the summer semester 2024, the seminar will take place in cooperation with the company easy2cool. The start-up easy2cool is a leading specialist for cooling solutions and is characterized in particular by its sustainability.
