Collaborations
Collaborations for practical Experience
The Chair of Corporate Management offers companies the opportunity to actively exchange ideas with students. Various cooperation options are available to the companies:
You are welcome to communicate current job advertisements of your company to students through our Chair. You are free to decide whether you want to send these specifically to students of the Master’s in Management program or you would like to share the information with all the students in general.
To share job advertisements, please contact Jule Holmer.
Practical presentations by companies can be given as part of lectures and seminars. This enables students to directly link what they have learned in theory with practical examples. Companies can use this opportunity to present current topics as well as the company in general. Ideally, the presentation should fit in with the topics covered in the corresponding lecture or seminar.
You can find the contents of the current teaching as well as the respective contact persons here.
For a more intensive exchange with students, the Chair also offers companies the opportunity to hold workshops with students. This gives you the opportunity to enter into a direct exchange with the students. The content can be freely selected by the company. For example, the practical application of theory can take place by means of extensive case study training. It has also been shown that a relaxed Q&A session afterwards promotes a lively exchange between companies and students.
Within the framework of the seminars listed below, the Chair also enables companies to become actively involved in the learning process of the students and to obtain objective assessments of the students’ problem-solving skills for any decisions and problem areas that may arise in the company. As a positive side effect, the students become involved with the company and the associated attention for your company.
In principle, you have the opportunity to present your company and the planned project task during an initial meeting and to coordinate it with those responsible at the department. As a rule, you will derive the project task from your everyday operational business or special, current problem areas, which the students will then have to deal with in the course of the semester. The way in which the problem is dealt with is coordinated with the theoretical content of the seminar. Furthermore, there is also the possibility to work out a more individual seminar design. If you are interested to learn more, please contact Prof. Dr. Sebastian Junge to discuss a potential collaboration.
