In the course of three academic conferences, the Chair of Corporate Management presented current research findings this summer.

The conference of the European Academy of Management in Bath was held under the theme “Fostering innovation to address grand challenges.” During the conference, Jule Holmer presented her study “From Intent to Impact: A Literature Review of Antecedents, Decisions, and Outcomes of CSR in SMEs.” Eva Dötschel presented the article “Preserving the intangible legacy: The handover of social capital in intra-family and non-family succession,” co-authored with Prof. Junge. Tobias Reif, in his presentation, discussed the findings from the article “Passing the torch. Investigating predecessor preferences for desired successor attributes in family business succession,” which he co-authored with Verena Hoßnofsky, Sebastian Junge, Melania Riefolo, and Jan-Philipp Ahrens. Prof. Sebastian Junge presented the study “Beyond politics: How organizational political ideology shapes organizational resilience through exploration in the face of Covid-19,” conducted with Wenjia Su, Verena Hoßnofsky, and Jan Mammen.

At the European Group for Organizational Studies conference in Milan, Wenjia Su presented the article “The red or blue escape route: Does organizational political ideology affect organizational resilience?” co-authored with Verena Hoßnofsky and Sebastian Junge.

“Innovating for the future” was the theme of the Academy of Management Conference in Chicago. At the conference, Tobias Reif presented the article “Navigating succession: Unveiling predecessor preferences for successor attributes in family firms,” Eva Dötschel presented the article “The Legacy of Intangibles: The Transfer of Social Capital in Intra-Family and Non-Family Succession,” and Wenjia Su presented the article “Red or Blue Survival of Covid-19: Organizational Political Ideology, Exploration, and Resilience.”
